The draft dementia strategy for the county has been agreed by Wiltshire Council and NHS Wiltshire Clinical Commissioning Group and is now going out for a three month consultation. People with an interest in dementia, whether through personal or professional experience, are being encouraged to contribute their comments and viewpoints.
The strategy outlines plans for how organisations in Wiltshire will work together to support people with dementia and their carers and families to live well in Wiltshire. It also sets out the care and support services for people from the point at which they start to have concerns about their memory through to the end of their lives.
The consultation runs until 19 May.
