Walking Netball coming to Corsham Next Month

Walking Netball will be returning to Springfield Community Campus every Monday 2-3pm starting from 4th September. Wiltshire Council is currently working in partnership with England Netball to deliver Walking Netball sessions across the county. Walking Netball involves delivering the traditional game at walking pace, making sessions more accessible and creating a fun and social sporting opportunity. Walking Netball is suitable for adults of all ages and abilities including individuals who have stopped playing due to injury, those who have never played or older people looking to increase their activity levels. Sessions also provide a great way to socialise with other like-minded individuals and to meet new friends whilst also offering participants the opportunity to be physically active and improve their health and fitness.

Walking Netball sessions will take place on the indoor courts and will cost £3 per session, all participants are also encouraged to join the group for a weekly cup of tea and catch up afterwards!
