The Great British Spring Clean

The Great British Spring Clean

Friday 3rd March to Sunday 5th March 2017

Keep Britain Tidy has launched its biggest ever litter campaign – The first Great British Spring Clean

Last March, groups across Wiltshire and the rest of England took part in the ‘Clean for the Queen’ litter pick up. You may have taken part in what was a huge success with Wiltshire having the most successful litter pick outside of London. Over 70 took place, 6 of which were in the Corsham area. 1,400 volunteers across the county and 14 tonnes of rubbish collected

The Great British Spring Clean builds upon that success and uses the same approach. Communities are encouraged to come together and help make their area one they can be even prouder of. No matter if you are a neighbourhood group, uniformed group, school, Parish council, business, club or just friends and family, you can take part.

All you need to do is get a group together and confirm a date and time. If you then contact Richard Rogers, your Community Engagement Manager, I will register your event, promote it, provide equipment, and arrange for the litter to be picked up afterwards.

It is as simple as that and I am hear to help if you have any questions. Please get involved and make Wiltshire an even better place
