Preparing to work in adult social care – starts 3 November

If you want to learn the skills and attitudes to be successful in working or volunteering in the adult social care sector then this course is perfect. You’ll gain an introduction to working in adult social care and learn about the values and principles of caring for adults, the role and responsibilities of the adult social care worker and the importance of communication.
12 sessions, once a week, 9.30am – 3pm in Chippenham. Full or partial funding may be available to meet the course fee (criteria apply).
On successful completion you’ll gain a valuable qualification – City & Guilds Level 1 Award in preparing to work in adult social care.
