PCC’s office completes Corsham Police Station consultation

The Office of the Police and Crime Commissioner (OPCC) has completed a public consultation about the future of the police station in Priory Street, Corsham.
Wiltshire Police are due to move to a new base in the Springfield campus in July 2014. The Priory Street site will then be surplus to requirements.
Police and Crime Commissioner (PCC) Angus Macpherson, who owns the Wiltshire Police estate, invited bids for the site before he was taken ill at the end of May 2014. His intention was to get the best price that can reasonably be obtained. He said that, in deciding on the successful bidder, he would take into account the views of the public.
