Parkinson’s UK – Recruiting Wiltshire Volunteers

The ‘Turn to Us’ Campaign wants to reach everyone affected by Parkinson’s with information about the support Parkinson’s UK can provide.
Thanks to the hard work of our local groups, and a commercial agency, we’ve reached 81% of our target. We want to work with you to reach the final 19%. Let’s fill the gaps in this map! This is a great opportunity to contribute to a vital goal to ensure that no one has to face Parkinson’s alone, with a chance to champion ‘reaching everyone’ on an on-going basis.
Reaching Everyone Local Coordinator
To champion and co-ordinate small groups of volunteers’ distribution of ‘Turn to Us’ posters and leaflets in key areas such as GP practices, pharmacies, hospitals and care homes in March and April.
Reaching Everyone Local Distributor
You will distribute Parkinson’s UK ‘Turn to Us’ Packs in your local GP practices, pharmacies and hospitals between in March and April. You will make a record of the names and postcodes of where you have visited then let us know that information (via the coordinator or direct) by the end of April.
You will be provided with all the information, materials and support that you need to fulfil your role by the dedicated Project Manager Emma Ward. You will be given feedback on the progress towards achieving our goal.
