New training programme for Speedwatch volunteers

New training programme for Speedwatch volunteers

We have now trained 193 NEW volunteers who will link up with active or new schemes over the coming weeks, if they haven’t already.

The training for NEW Volunteers, which we run at Wiltshire Police Headquarters in Devizes is a new way of training and so far we have a good response from those who have attended. The team leaders/members that came along on Monday 16 September to the CSW relaunch event would have had a glimpse of what the training has to offer.

We would very much like to offer this opportunity to those volunteers (who are currently participating in a scheme) who have not attended the recent training of new volunteers or those who came to the relaunch event who did not have a change to ask question.

We welcome you all to come along and experience it!

The following dates have been booked:

Thursday 5 December 2013, 6.00 – 8.00pm
Wednesday 11 December 2013, 6.00 – 8.00pm
Monday 20 January 2014, 6.00 – 8.00pm
Monday 27 January 2014, 6.00 – 8.00pm
Monday 3 February 2014, 6.00 – 8.00pm
Monday 10 February 2014, 6.00 – 8.00pm

All sessions will take place at Wiltshire Police Headquarters, London Road, Devizes, SN10 2DN.
If you would like to come long and join us on one of these sessions, please email your name and CSW Scheme name to communityspeedwatch@wiltshire.pnn.police.uk with the subject header as “CSW Training Event”.

Please note this is not training and only open to those who are currently trained and vetted. This is not for NEW untrained volunteers!

Thank you and I look forward to hearing from you.

Kind regards
