New Display at the Campus. And In the Beginning – well 1965 at least.

With the new Library installed at the Campus and boards now covering the old site next to the Mansion House, Corsham Area Heritage have found photos in their collection dating back to 1965 which remember when the Library on Pickwick Road was being built. Their latest display of black and white photos can now be viewed at the Campus and show the base and the familiar frame of the Library under construction. As a bonus there are also photos and a map showing the location of some of Corsham’s post war prefab houses. The photos will be on display into March so please have a look and it would be interesting to hear from anyone who was involved in the building of the library or who recognises their old house.
