Music Connect: a celebration of music and young people in Wiltshire is underway!

As well as showcasing the many diverse music performances, workshops, festivals and opportunities taking place across the county this summer Music Connect is co-ordinating two special events that mustn’t be missed!

If you are aged 14-25 and interested in working as a professional musician, or in a band, in radio, or studio, or music videos, then come along to our Music Industry Careers event on 13th July in Salisbury to find out more.

A panel of top musicians & music industry professionals will give insider tips and advice about working in the music industry – how they got started, what the biggest challenges are – and answering questions about getting into, and staying in the music business. Bring your questions to the panel and hear their stories! Book a free place by phoning the Salisbury Arts Centre Box Office on 01722 321744.

Our SEND and Music Making day on 16th July will explore how to fully involve SEND children and young people in music making, sharing a range of approaches through presentations, practice sharing, discussions and performance.

The day is suitable for teachers, musicians, SEND professionals, parents and carers and anyone interested in music activity for SEND children and young people.  Book a free place by phoning the Wiltshire Music Centre Box Office on 01225 860100

Music Connect is for all children and young people involved in music making and for everyone who supports them.  Let us know about your event, performance or workshop activity so we can signpost people to it too. Music Connect is taking place under the umbrella of Wiltshire Music Connect, the Music Education Hub for Wiltshire.
