Less than 12 hours to go to the start of the “Road to Rio” Challenge!

road-to-rioOver 12,000 people across Wiltshire have already signed up to be part of the ‘Road to Rio’ challenge that starts on June 4th. In the Corsham Community Area, this includes Corsham School, Colerne Primary School, Springfield Campus and many others.

If you have not yet registered as a team or individual, the good news is that you can still do so. You can join in any time up to its completion at the end of July. Just go to REGISTER HERE

Alternatively come along to the Springfield Campus Open Day and Corsham Town Fete on June 11th from 12pm to 4pm. As part of the many events and activities, we will have a Road to Rio gazebo with exercise bikes and a smoothie maker bike! You can sign up for the Springfield Team who are aiming to cycle the full distance to Rio and if you go on the exercise bike for a 10 minute slot you will also get a free pedometer. If you would prefer to register as an individual, that is fine – it only takes a minute. You can also sign up any time at Springfield Campus.

What is important is that you get active and have fun. Of course the honour of the Corsham Area is also at stake as we are competing against the other 17 areas in Wiltshire!
