Join us for the second Springfield Community Gardens work day

springfield community gardens first work day low res

Saturday 22nd April, 1pm – 3pm, Springfield Community Campus

The first work day  took place on the 1st April and got off to a great start. The trees were retied properly, many of the weeds were removed, the edging improved and the wild flower area was mowed into shape.

If you are able to spare a couple of hours and join us on the 22nd April we would love to see you.  We will be continuing with the weeding and general maintenance work. No experience is required but simply a willingness to muck in!

Work is also under way by the Brunel shed to prepare the raised beds and bench.

If you are interested in coming along then contact Adam Walton (adam@aw-consulting.co.uk) or Richard Rogers (Richard.rogers@wiltshire.gov.uk).

We are also looking for any individual, group, business, school or other organisation who would be interested in taking on one of the raised beds when they have been installed. They are @1m x 1.2m in size. We will have 8 in total and they will be allocated on a first to ask basis. 3 have already been allocated. If you are interested, please also get in touch
