Corsham Hockey Club gets international launch
Corsham Hockey Club will be officially launched on Saturday 17th May German under 21 international Nikolas Reiger along with local boy and national league player Mike Dodd who will also be lending his support to the new club. The launch has been fully supported by Duncan Hames, Michelle Donelan who will be presenting a the club with some hockey Olympic memorabilia, local Town Council chairman Ruth Hopkinson as well as the Springfield Centre and it’s team.
The day will get under-way at 12pm and run through until 3pm. There will be games and skills for the whole family with fun 6-a-sides for the youngest through to some competitive 6-a-sides for the adults. Everyone will have the opportunity to witness an international skills master class from current hockey stars.
Hockey is a growing sport and with the Springfield Centre in Corsham having just opened a brand new pitch we will be using a fantastic new facility for matches and training.
