I write on behalf of the Wessex-BESS research project- a collaboration between Cranfield University, the RSPB, and Centre for Ecology and Hydrology. We are conducting a multi-phased study of the cultural values associated with Wiltshire countryside/biodiversity. The research is funded by the Natural Environment Research Council, and results will contribute towards future land management in Wiltshire.
We have recently launched an online (map based) questionnaire to gather the views of local people.
Stakeholders who will benefit from study results include Wiltshire County Council, the Environment Agency, Natural England and a number of local groups. More information on the project can be found at http://www.brc.ac.uk/wessexbess/
Many thanks in anticipation of your assistance.
