Give your mental health a boost

Tuesday 10th October is world mental health day and the Corsham Health and Wellbeing Group have put together some events at Springfield Camus to help us thrive.

All Day (and all week) Mindfulness Colouring Springfield Campus Drop into the Library and spend some time colouring the mindfulness posters – great for relaxation. Plus work from the Springfield Arts Group will be on display

TUESDAY 10th OCTOBER
8.30-9am Mindfulness* Springfield Campus Before work, enjoy 30 minutes of stress-free relaxation. Come and plant positive seeds of happiness and joy. No experience required.

WEDNESDAY 11th OCTOBER
10.30-11.30am Meet Your Neighbour, Springfield Campus – A chance to have a coffee and a chat at the Campus. Bring a friend or make a new one. This month’s theme is ‘Counting Your Blessings’. We’ll be talking about gratitude and focusing on the positive. We’ll also have an autumnal activity to tie in with our gratitude theme.

All Day Mental Health First Aid Training and Display Springfield Campus Brought to you by the Wiltshire and Swindon Users’ Network from The Independent Living Centre. Plus members of the Centre’s ‘Our Time to Talk’ mental health group will be on hand to explain about the group and its work. Run by: Zoe Millington, Development Outreach Worker, WSUN

THURSDAY 12th OCTOBER
2.00-3.30pm Wellbeing Workshop
Come and discover ways to keep feeling positive and make the most of autumn and winter. Run by: Kerri Harmer, Health Trainer.
