Open Afternoon – 21 April (13.30pm- 16.30): an opportunity for local health / social / pastoral care staff to come along and find out more about end of life care and the work the hospice does. Free event (donations invited). (Limited spaces remaining.)
Complementary Therapy at End of Life – 12 May (09:30-16:30): an opportunity for complementary therapists to learn more about using complementary therapy approaches in life limiting and advanced disease.
Change, Loss and Grief – 16 May (09:30-16:30): considering the impact of significant life change, loss and grief on people’s lives – and how we respond to it. The study day will be helpful for people working with individuals, families and children who are experiencing major life change or loss. It will introduce you to working with clients who are healthily adjusting to the emotional and social impact of significant life change, including bereavement as a result of death.
