Wiltshire has published its latest report assessing childcare and is working towards plugging gaps in provision around the county.
The Childcare Sufficiency Assessment Report explores the supply and nature of childcare and early education in the county and observes the obstacles that parents face when searching for and using childcare which enables them to work.
Information on helping parents make childcare more affordable is explored as well as what to do if you’re thinking about setting up as a childcare provider.
The report is helpful to parents, professionals, childcare providers and prospective childcare providers. A county-wide plan shows how Wiltshire Council intends to address gaps in provision and 18 community plans look in more depth at childcare in smaller geographical areas.
