Do you want to become a Churchill Fellow?

Whatever your background the Winston Churchill Memorial Trust can help you to bring change to your Community or Profession.

A presentation on becoming a Churchill Fellow will be given at the Pound Arts Centre in Corsham on 5 May 2016 at 7:30pm by Churchill Fellow, Laurence St Croix MA (RCA).

Winston Churchill Memorial Trust provides funding for British Citizens in the form of a grant to investigate inspiring practice in other countries relative to a chosen category, and to return with innovative ideas for the benefit of people across the UK. The period of travel is usually around 4 to 8 weeks.

Each grant is individually calculated and depends on the project, the destination(s) and the duration of travel. In general the aim is that all travel related costs will be covered by the grant including: flights, internal travel in your destination countries, food and accommodation, plus visa fees, vaccinations costs and insurance, etc.

Categories and applications for 2017 include:

Crafts & Makers, Designers; Widening Access to Music; Horticulture; Science, Technology & Innovation; Social and affordable housing; Environment & Sustainable Living; Education; Early Years Prevention; Medicine, Health & Patient Care; Mental Health & Patient Care;Young People; Open.
