Dementia Friendly Concert at WIltshire Music Centre

cakeconcert

We are delighted to have Bournemouth Symphony Orchestra’s Teatime trio return for a dementia friendly Cake Concert at Wiltshire Music Centre on 12th February at 1pm. These events are designed to be accessible for people who love music but are not able to attend concerts in our main programme. Cake Concerts are special occasions which provide the opportunity to enjoy music in a relaxed environment as well as enjoying tea and cake with friends and family. Previous Cake Concerts have been received with great enthusiasm by the whole audience; it is wonderful to see family and friends sharing such a positive experience together.

The programme typically includes light and frothy classical pieces, and classically arranged popular and film music to entertain and delight the audience. The harp, flute and cello trio provide the perfect accompaniment to the delicious cakes and other nibbles we will have on offer and the welcoming atmosphere of the foyer is the perfect location for this relaxed and friendly event.

We would love to welcome everyone to the Centre to share in the wonderful power of music, and to encourage you to complete a reminiscence postcard about your experience!

If you would like some more information about our Celebrating Age programme, a county-wide ongoing project which we run with the support of our other partners, please do follow the link at the bottom of the page or contact us at info@wiltshiremusic.org.uk for more information.

If you would like to attend the Cake Concert on 12th February please call the Box Office to book your ticket.

Tickets £6.50 / Free for carers.

We look forward to seeing you there!
