CORSHAM WALKING FESTIVAL 9 – 11 JUNE 2017

With only a week or so to go to this years Corsham Walking Festival there is still time to join us for an enjoyable weekend of walking and quizzes.
The Festival ‘kicks-off’ on the afternoon of the 9th June when Stephanie Millward MBE, Paralympic swimmer, will be opening the Festival at the Corsham Community Campus 1:30pm.
There are 18 walks planned over the three days of the Festival, most of them themed and with talks given by experts, many are already fully booked but there are still places on several walks.
The Saturday evening entertainment is looking to be another winner this year with music provided by Akrat, a four piece jazz band from the Corsham School, a quiz to tease the mind and to compete for the ‘Golden Boots’ and many other great prizes.
Corsham is a beautiful medieval market town that sits on the fringe of the Cotswolds and at the heart of the picturesque rolling North Wiltshire countryside on paths dating back to Roman times.
So, why not, bring your family and friends and join either the Children’s Treasure Hunt or Corsham Quest testing you knowledge and observation skills.
All the walk descriptions covering distance, grading’s, start times, costs and booking arrangements are explained in detail on the Festival website at www.corshamwalkingfestival.org.uk along with a vast array of information and photographs
