Thursday 23rd November
7pm start (refreshments and networking from 6.30pm)
Springfield Community Centre, Corsham

We have a really interesting mix of subjects to hear about and discuss at our next meeting

In 2014, we began a 4 year period of commemorating a hundred years since WW1. A lot of activities have already taken place and many more are planned up until November 2018. We are going to hear from Box, Colerne and Lacock about some of the great projects taking place. We will also hear from the schools and Corsham Commemorates including some interesting stories . It is a great chance to not only find out more but also get involved.

We will hear a presentation on The Corsham Neighbourhood Plan which is out for consultation at the moment. This document sets out how Corsham will be developed over the years to come. It has been put together locally and is your opportunity to take control and shape your area.

There will also be a couple of interesting projects involving the Brunel Shed. Find out about they will be launching an initiative that that will be a first in the country to help people live with dementia. Also hear about the work that has gone on to restore an old mining trolley that will be unveiled soon as a piece of heritage art at Springfield Campus.

We will have updates from our partners, funding requests to consider and more. The meeting will end by 9pm. I hope to see you on the 23rd November.

If you would to find out more or would like to have an item of wide community interest on a future meeting agenda, then please let me know. Richard.rogers@wiltshire.gov.uk
