The Care Certificate is a nationally identified set of standards that health and social care workers adhere to in their daily working life.
Designed with the non-regulated workforce in mind, it aims to provide a consistent level of skills, knowledge and behaviours to provide compassionate, safe and high quality care and support.
Dorothy House participated in the national pilot scheme for the Care Certificate before its official launch, and we have lots of expertise and learning to share from implementing the care certificate at Dorothy House and in community teams.
The training day on 1st June is for anyone who employs non registered health & social care staff, and who is working towards compliance with the Care Certificate.
This course is designed to enable individuals to become an assessor in order to assess and support staff in their organisation who are working towards the Care Certificate.
The course costs just £25 per person and lunch and refreshments are included.
