Are you ready to take the road to Rio?

4 June – 29 July 2016

The Big Pledge returns in 2016 and with it being Olympic year you can really make a difference to your health and wellbeing by signing up to one of this year’s sporting challenges.

From 2 May your will be able to sign up to start your challenge on 4 June for eight weeks. Sign up as either an individual or a team and undertake a virtual journey around the world stopping in previous Olympic host cities on your way to this year’s Olympic and Paralympics in Rio de Janeiro.

This year’s challenges:
•Road to Rio challenge (teams only)
•Running challenge (individuals)
•Cycling challenge (individuals)
•Swimming challenge (individuals)
•Walking challenge (individuals) *
•Junior sports challenge (individuals) *
•Ultimate sports challenge (individuals and teams)

The first 1000 people to register for one of these challenges will receive a free pedometer

In addition to the individual and team goals, everyone that enters will contribute to the Corsham community area’s distance.

So whether it’s on the roads, tracks and trails of Wiltshire, in the gym or pool, it’s time to get active and have fun on the Road to Rio!
