3 more local community groups supported with funding

The Corsham Area Board were pleased to award grants to three local more organisations to help them develop the activities that they do.

Silman Close Play Area was closed a number of years ago but the Guinness Trust have allocated some funding to clear the area and reinstate a play area. In order for all the work to be completed, the Area Board were very pleased to top[ up their funding and award an additional £1,044

AFC Corsham has seen the football club grow in recent years particularly with the under 11’s. To meet this growth the club requested some funding towards flood lights and the Area Board were pleased to agree to their request for £1,000

Corsham Hockey Club play on the Astro Turf at Springfield Campus. However there are no dugouts resulting in the players and coaches having nowhere dry to sit, nowhere to store equipment or deal with injuries. The Area Board agreed to fund half the costs and awarded £2,305
